Idiocy

I don't get it. Are people now days stupider than say 30 years ago? Take this case for example; a story about John aged 15 who made legal history by becoming the first person to admit the offence of incitement to murder themselves.

I could add some witty commentary about how stupid those kids are, but I'll leave that to the reader's imagination.

I do know that the blame that the internet will get for this is unjustified, but then if you followed popular belief, I should be a mass-murderer or at least suicide prone, since I listen to heavy metal, I played AD&D, I play computer games, I watch the Simpsons, and I use the internet!

*edit* I should note that yes, the guy that stabbed John is more of an idiot.

Nah. It's just that this sort of thing wasn't passed around 30 years ago. What was once considered dirty laundry is now considered to be interesting news stories.
