We saw Jersey Girl last night. It wasn't what I expected out of Kevin Smith, but since I'm a huge fan of his, I went without knowing much about the movie.
I really liked the movie. Yes it's a Chick Flick, but it's by far the best Chick Flick I've ever seen. Kevin Smith just manages to write the scenes in a totally non cliche way.
I recommend seeing it, especially on a first date. that is if you think a movie itself is a good date, I don't, but I know many of my friends do! :)
You know, sometimes reality gives us material that is so good that there is nothing that can be added.
I got my new car on Monday! Enjoy the pictures. The are really bad ones I quickly took after work today. On the weekend I will take nice outside shots.
You can find out more information about the Canada Spec here. I have the GT model with 4 speed automatic and air-con.
I too was hit by it. I guess that means that at least someone knows about my site:) Anyway like others I've installed MT-Blacklist and would like to thank Jay Allen for his excellent piece of software
I've added more pictures to the Vancouver Gallery. Some views, and some pictures of the apartment we are moving into soon.
Please note that there are 3 sub-galleries there. There are lots more than 5 pictures. I hope you enjoy them, I especially like this view of the northern part of downtown vancouver.
This is probably what happens to everyone, but I realized today that I have a terrible fear of growing old.
I was driving to work, and stopped at a traffic light. A teenage girl walked across the road. She looked straight at me, and I don't know how to explain it, but she had that look on her face that I probably give to middle aged balding men.
Now yes, I'm not middle aged officially, but it's coming up real soon. The thing is I find it hard for me to think of myself as adult. I feel like I have young persons taste, in clothes, in music, in videogames etc. But obviously I probably don't. I'm probably as irrelative as the next almost-thirty year old.
Thing is I never had that period between being a kid to being an adult. I didn't take a trip to the orient to find myself. I think I miss that, but realistically it won't happen. I've moved around way too much, any more and Karina would not be happy, add to that the fact that (hopefully) I'll have children at some stage, and there goes that.
I guess my life is pretty much planned out for the next 33 or so years. Keep working, and then retire. Luckily for me work is a good thing, especially since I joined EA (And that is not lip service!).
I just wish I could be 16 again. 1992 was the best year of my life.
Well, like I said in my previous posting, Vancouver is amazingly pretty. To prove it, I took some pictures of the hill at the entrance to EA. It's just a random place where I had time and my Pentax, there are nicer views in other areas.
So head on over to the gallery and take a look.
Well, a lot has happened, Canada is great. I have tons of things I want to post, and will be posting soon.
Right now it seems like we are still somewhat jet lagged, we get up real early (5am or so) and then fall asleep at 9pm.
Vancouver is the most beautiful town I have ever been in. It's really amazing. No matter where you are, there will be a nice view in some direction, even in the middle of downtown!
I promise to write more real soon, hopefully tomorrow.
